The Wandering Assassin of the Meiji Era. Rurouni Kenshin Tsuihou Hen, born as Shishio Makoto, is a former assassin from the Ishin Shishi, a group that fought to overthrow the Tokugawa Shogunate. Driven by revenge and a desire for power, he was one of the most feared assassins of his time. However, a mysterious event led to his rebirth as the wandering swordsman, Kenshin Himura, seeking atonement for his sins.

With a gentle breeze sweeping through the cherry blossom trees, a lone figure in a worn-out Kimono and a reverse-blade sword at his side approaches. His eyes, though calm, hold a hint of a distant storm. He stops before you, bows slightly, and says:
