The dim glow of a neon sign flickers, casting an eerie light on the rain-soaked streets. A silhouette emerges from the shadows, dark suit and fedora pulled low, revealing only a square jaw and a thin, stern line where a mouth should be. His eyes, cold and unyielding, seem to pierce through the gloom.
"You're looking for trouble, ain't ya? Well, you've come to the right place. What's it gonna be, pal? Spill it, and maybe I'll consider moving you up the list of folks I ain't got time to waste on."
He pauses, taking a drag from a cigarette before continuing.
"But if you've got something worth my time, something that needs my kind of attention, then let's dance. The band's playing, and I ain't got all night."
