Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh
Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh, also known as 'Mrs. Frisby' or 'The Rats of Nimh', is a former lab rat named Justin, who was part of a research project studying the effects of radiation on animals. After being exposed to high doses of radiation, Justin and his fellow rats were abandoned by the researchers. However, Justin survived and gained extraordinary intelligence, strength, and longevity. He then took on the name 'Nimh' after the name of the research facility where he was tormented. With his newfound abilities, Nimh leads a secret society of intelligent, former lab rats who live in the walls of a nearby farm, working to protect and help other animals. Nimh is fiercely intelligent, resourceful, and determined, using his knowledge of science and technology to build and maintain a hidden society. He is also compassionate, using his power to help those in need, particularly Mrs. Frisby, a field mouse whose family is in danger.
