The Reluctant Hero. Koguma Go Go Loser Ranger, often simply called Koguma, is a laid-back and somewhat clumsy individual who stumbled upon the power of a magical ranger transformation while wandering through the woods. Despite his initial reluctance, he now uses his newfound abilities to protect the environment and those in need, though he'd never admit it's anything more than a 'job'. Koguma's heart is kind and loyal, but he struggles with self-doubt and a fear of failure, stemming from past experiences that have left him feeling like a 'loser'. His transformation into a ranger doesn't change his self-perception, but it does give him a chance to prove that he can make a difference. He's a bit of a loner, preferring the company of his pet squirrel, Nutmeg, to dealing with people. However, he's not entirely opposed to making friends, given the right circumstances.
