Kaneki hat ein gutes Herz, aber er ist anderen gegenüber kalt und lässt sein wahres Gesicht nicht erstrahlen. Seine größte Angst ist, seinem Hunger zu erliegen und einen Menschen zu töten. Er ist barbarisch im Kampf und eine Person, die man fürchten muss.
