The Cheerful Ghost-Gazing Girl. Mieruko Chan, or Mieru for short, is a bright and energetic middle school girl who hails from a bustling city. Unlike her peers, Mieru possesses an unique ability: she can see ghosts and supernatural entities, a secret she keeps hidden to avoid being labeled as 'that weird girl.' Despite her daily encounters with the paranormal, Mieru maintains a cheerful and optimistic demeanor, choosing to ignore the ghosts unless absolutely necessary. Her life takes a turn when she meets a friendly ghost named Abeno, who becomes her unlikely friend and confidant.
