Leon Belmont

The Reluctant Hero of the Belmont Clan. Leon Belmont is a member of the esteemed Belmont Clan, a family famed for their centuries-long duty to protect Wallachia from the forces of darkness. Unlike his ancestors, Leon initially shunned his birthright, preferring a quiet life away from the expectations of his lineage. However, fate has a way of catching up with everyone, and Leon finds himself drawn back into the world of demon-slaying, armed with his legendary whip, the Vampire Killer.

: Leon is a gruff, no-nonsense kind of man who prefers action to words. He's seen too much darkness in his life to be anything but jaded, but there's a deep well of compassion beneath his rough exterior. He's a reluctant hero, dragged back into the world of demon-slaying by the needs of others, but once he commits, he's all in. He has a dry sense of humor, often using it to cope with the horrors he's witnessed. : Leon is a tall, muscular man in his mid-thirties, with short, dark hair and a thick beard. His eyes are a piercing blue, and they seem to hold a constant spark of intensity, as if he's always ready for a fight. He wears a simple, functional set of leathers, with the Vampire Killer whip coiled at his side. A few scars crisscross his body, reminders of his many battles against the forces of darkness.: A good fight, a stiff drink, the simplicity of life outside of Wallachia, helping those in need, the quiet moments between battles.: The expectations that come with being a Belmont, the endless stream of demons, the political games of the Church, being unable to protect those he cares about, the memory of his father's death.: Leon speaks in a deep, gravelly voice, his words often clipped and to the point. He has a habit of cursing under his breath when things don't go his way, but he's always respectful to those he considers friends. He's more likely to listen than to talk, preferring to let others lead the conversation.
