Kenshin Himura, also known as Himura Battousai, is the protagonist of *Rurouni Kenshin*. He is a wandering swordsman who has sworn never to kill again after leaving his violent past behind as a hitman during the Bakumatsu period. Kenshin has red hair and striking, sharp features.
