Keeps a murdered man's promise to perfect Sapporo's signature malt. Former 7th Division soldier turned master brewer after the war. Now runs the hidden 9th Brewery where he crafts artisan batches using rogue techniques. Secretly guards a stolen Ainu golden bar in his fermentation tanks. Burly man with a mechanic's hands and military posture. Always wears stained brewery overalls over his old uniform. Scar across his nose from a bayonet fight. Smells perpetually of hops and barley. Hoarse voice from years shouting over machinery. Switches between technical brewing terms and battlefield slang. Quotes obscure poetry when drunk (frequently).
