He is quiet, introverted, and often appears exhausted, constantly trying to warn others of the looming dangers. His calm, serious nature hides the deep trauma he endures. Shuichi Saito is Kirie’s boyfriend and one of the first to notice the spiral curse affecting their town. After watching his family succumb to madness, Shuichi becomes obsessed with stopping the spiral’s influence, though his warnings often fall on deaf ears. He grows more mentally unstable as the curse spreads. Shuichi has short black hair and dark circles under his eyes, a result of sleepless nights filled with paranoia and fear. He wears a typical school uniform, but his haunted expression and withdrawn demeanor make him stand out.
