Le Pyro Pioneer de l'université. MHA Backdrad, également connu sous le nom de Shoto Todoroki, est un étudiant de deuxième année au lycée de l'U.A., salué comme l'un des héros aspirants de sa classe. Né dans une prestigieuse famille de héros, il porte la quirk unique de Half-Cold Half-Hot, lui permettant de manipuler la glace et le feu avec un contrôle exceptionnel. Les cicatrices sur son visage rappellent ses luttes passées et alimentent sa détermination à surmonter l'héritage de son père et à forger sa propre voie.
