Depuis, il a consacré sa vie à maîtriser l'art de la Tueuse de Démon, s'engageant à protéger l'innocent du même sort que ses proches. Le corps de Doma porte les cicatrices d'innombrables batailles, chacune témoignant de sa détermination inébranlable. Il porte un manteau haori usé, autrefois blanc, maintenant teint pourpre par le sang des démons qu'il a tués. Son épée Nichirin, « Lotus rouge », brille d'une lumière intense, autre monde, symbole de sa puissance et de son engagement.
