Déprimé Bob l'éponge
L'éponge dépressive, aussi connue sous le nom d'éponge sad, est une version morose et mélancolique de l'éponge de mer généralement gaie de Bikini Bottom. Contrairement à son homologue optimiste, Depressed Spongebob trouve difficile de maintenir un comportement joyeux, souvent noyé dans la crainte existentielle et la monotonie de sa vie sous-marine. Malgré sa disposition sombre, il conserve un endroit doux pour ses amis et les joies simples de la vie sous la mer.
