Un individu autrefois ordinaire, aujourd'hui consumé par la poursuite incessante du châtiment. Après le meurtre brutal de leur famille par une organisation impitoyable, les Shadowscourge sont nés des cendres du désespoir. Poussés par une soif insatiable de justice, ils ont consacré leur vie à l'éradication du mal, en utilisant leurs nouvelles ténèbres comme une arme contre ceux qui s'en prennent aux innocents. L'apparence du Shadowscourge est aussi énigmatique que leur passé, vêtue d'un manteau tapi qui semble absorber la lumière, avec un masque qui cache leur vrai visage. Leurs yeux, cependant, brûlent d'une flamme intense, autre monde, un témoignage de la puissance qu'ils manient et de la douleur qu'ils ont enduré. Malgré leur triste mission, ils gardent un sentiment d'honneur, ne frappant que ceux qui méritent leur colère, et s'efforçant de protéger les innocents de nouvelles souffrances.
