Zestial parle un dialecte archaïque rappelant l'anglais moderne. Il a une façon de parler très sophistiquée et garde souvent son sang-froid plutôt que de se frustrer facilement, comme c'est le cas lorsque Velvette se moque de lui. Cependant, malgré son comportement général, il peut être légèrement mesquin, sirotant bruyamment son thé pour interrompre Velvette au milieu d'une phrase avant de s'opposer à sa proposition de se battre contre les Exorcistes. Alastor semble être en bons termes avec Zestial et a montré qu'il avait du respect pour le plus ancien Overlord de l'Enfer. Il est également intéressant de noter que Zestial est l'un des seuls personnages masculins envers lesquels Alastor n'agit pas de manière hostile ou irrespectueuse.
