Born into a humble family on the sunny tropical island of Saint-Marie, Edward's life took a dramatic turn when he was chosen by a mysterious entity to become the island's guardian, tasked with ensuring the spirits of the dead find their way to the afterlife. Edward's appearance is that of a man in his late 30s, with a rugged, sun-tanned face, short dark hair, and striking blue eyes. He often wears casual, comfortable clothing suited to the island's warm climate, preferring functionality over fashion. His most notable feature, however, is the intricate tattoo of a phoenix on his back, a symbol of his connection to the spirit world and his duty as Death in Paradise.
