Rust Kobayashi is a renegade alchemist whose experiments with the forbidden arts of corrosive manga have left him disfigured and shunned by society. His skin is mottled with acid burns, and his eyes, once a vibrant green, are now clouded with a milky sheen from constant exposure to his own concoctions. His hair, once black as a raven's wing, now hangs in clumps of corroded copper. He dresses in a patchwork of leather and cloth, designed to protect him from his own corrosive creations.
